FTM-350R Bug Fixed ———————!

On February 19th, 2010 Yaesu V/S announced a firmware upgrade to address an anomaly in the NAVIgation feature of the FTM-350R. New transceivers shipped after this date should already have this update, but buyers should still double-check before carrying one out the door!
Il 19 febbraio, 2010 Yaesu V/S ha annunciato un aggiornamento del firmware per risolvere un’anomalia nella funzione di NAVIgazione del FTM-350R. I nuovi ricetrasmettitori spediti dopo tale data hanno questo aggiornamento fatto in fabbrica, comunque gli acquirenti potrebbero sempre fare un attento controllo del tipo di produzione prima di uscire dal negozio!.

[VX-8 Series questions]
Existing Yaesu VX-8R series will be able to convert them to add the new features of the VX-8DR? – Perhaps it is actually NOT a simple software upgrade! (probably replacing it with a larger memory chip and a different processor and firmware!) – The European VX-8E will presumably need a different upgrade or not upgradable?
La vecchia versione del VX-8R potrà essere  convertita con l’aggiunta delle nuove caratteristiche del VX-8DR? – Forse in realtà NON si tratta di un semplice aggiornamento del software! (Probabilmente si dovrà sostituire  un chip di memoria più grande, un processore diverso e il firmware) – L’apparato VX-8E europeo presumibilmente avrà necessità di un aggiornamento diverso, oppure non sarà proprio aggiornabile?
