In the US: List Price: $4876.00 – Your Price: $3999.95;  Expected delivery late April 09. In the Europe: Ian Lockyer, Marketing manager of Icom UK said, it is expected that the IC-7600 will be in stock by the end of March, 09. Pricing is still to be confirmed. (TBA)

Three 1st IF filter. 3kHz, 6kHz, and 15kHz for the 1st IF filter bandwidth to pass the appropriate mode (FM mode 15kHz only) can be changed.
The filter are optimized for lowest IMD and each is mounted on a plug-in daughterboard.
This is high technology from Icom flagship IC-series!

The new Transceiver including 3 roofing with 3kHz bandwidth 1st IF filter. The receive adopt a simple method: Duble Superhet (2 conversion: 1st IF 64.455MHz  2nd IF 36kHz ) idem to IC-7800/7700 to achieving superior IMD performance. In particular, the  in-band IMD (Inter Modulation Distortion) significantly improved. The 1st IF filter 3kHz  bandwidth, you can reduce the effects of near-frequency signal. ic7600Icom IC-7600 on show at Pescra Hamfire 2008; Prima visione sul nuovo IC-7600 ala Fiera di Pescara Nov.2008.
Marcucci Spa, Importatore Icom, ha esposto il nuovo IC-7600 alla Fiera Mercato di Pescara (Italy)  il 29/30 Novembre 2008. Il primo prototipo di questo nuovo modello era stato mostrato dalla Icom presso la HanFair 2008 tenutasi il 23 e 24 agosto 2008 a Tokyo.

L’Icom IC7600 sarà presto in arrivo, probabile all’inizio della primavera 2009.

IC-7600 Dual Watch, (a differenza dell’IC-7700 in cui il DW non c’è) è una configurazione del ricevitore in cui la larghezza di banda in ingresso RF è presentata tramite un divisore (power-divider) a due vie, ai due 1st mixers, ciascuno pilotati con il proprio segnale di OL. L’output di questi due mixer sono ricombinati in IF e poi demodulati, creando un canale composito con la banda base (audio). Il Dual Watch permette il monitoraggio simultaneo in tempo reale di due frequenze in bande adiacenti, e nello stesso modo. E ‘inoltre pienamente funzionale in combinazione con l’operazione in Split.

ENG: First Glimpse of IC-7600 at Pescara (Italy) Hamfair 29.11.2008
Marcucci Spa, a major Italia Icom dealer, it has introduced the new IC-7600 at the Pescara Ham Fair, 29/30 Nov 2008. Early prototype samples of this new model were shown at the JARL Ham Fair 2008 held between August 23rd and 24th 2008 in Tokyo.  – The Icom IC7600 will be arriving coming spring 2009.

IC-7600 Dual Watch, ( unlike the Icom IC-7700) is a receiver configuration in which the incoming RF bandwidth is presented via a power divider to two 1st mixers, each with its own LO. The IF outputs of these mixers are combined and demodulated, yielding a composite baseband (audio) channel. Dual Watch allows simultaneous monitoring in real time of two frequencies in the same or adjacent bands, and in the same mode. It is also fully functional in conjunction with split operation.

Truth of Icom HF Transceiver IC-781 to IC-7600. Special Movie from Icom: La verità sui noti Transceiver HF della Icom dotati di Monitor multifunzione, lo sviluppo della tecnologia DSP dedicata allo  Spectrum-Scope che è diventato un vero strumento di misura con BW e Span variabile, rispetto al primo innovativo IC-781 dotato di Monitor CRT con dati i immagini interessanti.

An IC-756PRO3 might be replaced by the IC-7600 and it might be release on this coming 2009. Watch the Video from Icom Stand

IC-7600 con l’IC-756Pro3 per un più facile confronto visivo. Seguono alcune informazioni preliminari, che non sono quelle ufficiali, ma notizie generiche dal reparto vendite nello stand di  ICOM alla Ham Fair di Tokyo 2008.
L’IC-756PRO3, presentato a Tokyo nel 2004, dovrebbe essere sostituito dall’IC-7600 che  potrebbe essere rilascio durante il prossimo inverno.  Il prezzo di listino dovrebbe essere della stessa fascia di quello di un IC-756PRO3.  Con una tastiera esterna connessa alla porta USB, l’IC-7600 supporta la modalità digitale come ad esempio RTTY o PSK31 ed anche senza un PC. La funzione del “DW” Doppia Ricezione, sarebbe limitata per ricevere la stessa frequenza e lo stesso modo come nel Pro3. (quale sarà la soluzione adottata in “DW” nel caso di commutazione  dei Roofing Filters stretti per la  banda passante?)  
Questo nuovo transeiver mantiene lo standard C-IV per il remote (vedi mini-jack C-IV sul retro del pannello) oltre alla porta USB sul retro che oltre il remote gestisce i segnali audio impu/ouput per nuove applicazioni software da PC. (come nel IC-7200). In particolare sul retro c’è anche un connettore segnato: X-VERTER, ma anche si vede un mini jack marcato: “METER” (per chi ama vedere lo S-miter analogico c’è un mini jack per uno strumento opzional da collegare esterno)

ENG: The preliminary information. These are not the official information but the sales rep at the ICOM booth Ham Fair Tokyo 2008.
An IC-756PRO 3 might be replaced by the IC-7600 and it might be release during this coming winter .
The list price might be the same price range of an IC-756PRO 3. With an external keyboard (USB port), the IC-7600 supports a digital mode such as a RTTY and PSK31, even without a PC. It might have the limited DW Dual Receive function for the same frequency and same mode (Performance in “DW ” reduced due to roofing filter width?) The transceive maintains the standard C-IV, see mini jack “remote” on the back panel.  In addition there is the rear USB port (feature is the same as the IC-7200 CI-V and audio input-output  for PC); 
The rear panel connectors, X-verter, but also what looks like a 3,5 mm. mini-jack marked “METER” for optional analog  S-miter.

IC-7600 presentato a sorpresa da Icom Inc. alla Ham Fair di Tokyo 2008 il 23 e 24 Agosto (on the Big Sight!)
IC-7600 è un transceiver classe 13.8V, 100W HF/50MHz , utilizza la più recente tecnologia IF-DSP sviluppata dalla Icom, i comandi sul pannello sono come nel Pro3, ma sono disposti diversamente, il Tune/Moni e NR/NB sono sovrapposti e le manopole AF/RF e BAL/NR sono in verticale.  Lavora in Split con il VFO A/B e XFC oppure in Split con capacità di Doppio ascolto “DW” come nel Pro3, ma con Roofing IF con BW selezionabile da pannello (il DW non compreso nel IC-7700).
Il ricevitore sarà molto probabilmente ottimo, con basso rumore tratto dalla tecnologia sviluppata per l’IC-7700 che è stato apprezzato da molti operatori. Comprende diverse funzioni oramai molto popolari che non tutte si trovano ancora disponibli (senza uso di accessori esterni o più manopole) sia nel K3 sia nel FT-2000, ad esempio: Un affidabile analizzatore di spettro, con Span da 5kHz a 500kHz con un ampio Diaplay TFT multifunzioni, identico al IC-7700 e al 7800 per M-S-T, mini scope ecc., Doppia Ricezione con il Dual-Watch e con Roofing Filters in IF selezionabili, RTTY/PSK Encoder e Decoder incorporato, APF/TBF (Twin Bandpass Filter for Digital mode) una  porta USB sul pannello frontale (x mini drive USB, Tastiera, o altri utilizzi), una singola porta USB sul retro (Controllo Remoto dell’apparato con standard C-IV, con in più compresi i segnali audio Rx-out/ Tx-imput per comunicazioni audio o digitali con software da PC), Connettori sull’antenna RX-OUT e RX-IN per l’uso di accessori esterni (preselettore, ecc), Connettore per il controllo di un altro ATU opzionale esterno. Se il prezzo sarà buono, (si parla di 450.000 Yen) si pensa che si  venderà bene, proprio come in questi anni è successo per il 756 Pro III che dovrà sostituire. Voci che circolano dicono che questo transceiver potrebbe entrare in produzione nei primi mesi del 2009 e lanciato a Maggio alla Hamvention di Dayton.

ENG. IC-7600 is a 13.8V, 100W-class HF/50MHz transceiver, utlizing last Icom’s IF-DSP tecnology, Split feature with VFO/XFC or Dual-Watch capabily (unlike the IC-7700)
The receiver is very probably quite good enough for many people and it has a few popular features which are not yet available in the K3 or FT-2000, e.g. The built in spectrum scope (Span 5kHz to 500kHz on large multifunction Display TFT, identical to IC-7700/7800 M-S-T function), Dual Watch with IF Roofing Filters selectable, RTTY/PSK31 Encode/decode,  APF/TBF (Twin Bandpass Filter for Digital), USB port on front panel(USB miny-drive/keyboard, TBD),  Single USB port on rear (Rig Remote Control with C-IV standard and audio signals Rx-out/Tx-imput), Separate RX-OUT and RX-IN antenna ports allowing connection of external accessory, control for an external ATU. If the price is good, I expect is will sell well, just like the 756 Pro III it replaces. The speculation is that this rig will go into production in early 2009 and launched in May at Dayton HamVention.
