Three 1st IF filter. 3kHz, 6kHz, and 15kHz for the 1st IF filter bandwidth to pass the appropriate mode (FM mode 15kHz only) can be changed.
The filter are optimized for lowest IMD and each is mounted on a plug-in daughterboard.
This is high technology from Icom flagship IC-series!

The new Transceiver including 3 roofing with 3kHz bandwidth 1st IF filter. The receive adopt a simple method: Duble Superhet (2 conversion: 1st IF 64.455MHz  2nd IF 36kHz ) idem to IC-7800/7700 to achieving superior IMD performance. In particular, the  in-band IMD (Inter Modulation Distortion) significantly improved. The 1st IF filter 3kHz  bandwidth, you can reduce the effects of near-frequency signal. IC-7600 DUALWATCH® in the same band, is the same level of quality and the gain in the main and sub strength signals  simultanely (VFO-A/B).

- Features the latest IF DSP technology – Advanced IF DSP system – AGC loop management prevents distortion and blocking of nearby signals.
Two 32-bit floating point DSP’s, one dedicated for spectrum scope, the other for the IF-DSP and capability of the performance by up significantly;

N.1) IF DSP Processor (above): TMS320C6726BRFP – 266MHz clock – 32bit floating point – Capacity = 1600MFLOPS – N. 2) DSP Spectrum Scope Display (bottom)  TMS320C6720B – 200MHz clock – 32bit floating point – Capacity = 1200MFLOP -  [Note] The IC-756PROIII has Processor ADI DSP  150MFLOPS – 50MHz clock and Analog Spectrum Scope!
Multi-function spectrum scope dedicated to DSP with a dynamic range of signals and can greatly improve the measurement accuracy and response with adjustable resolution bandwidth RBW). The highly IC-7800/7700 are close in performance and function – RTTY / PSK31 operation without PC connection, requiring a USB keyboard. The PA Unit  uses 2 X RD100HHF1 MOSFET’s  IMD particular characteristics and  excellent linearity and low distortion, power output to 100W.

The multi function meter of variegated information that displays the batch: Vd (final FET drain voltage) in addition to S/Po/ALC/COMP/SWR/Id (final FET drain current), and TEMP (temperature of the PA circuit) can be displayed.

本機のファームウェアは機能の拡張や改良のため、バージョンアップをすることがあります。 …….. This machine use the firmware for expansion and improvement of the functions. Using a commercially available USB memory, firmware upgrade.

New Icom IC-7200, rugged manpack styling
Like: Front speaker, rear bumper to protect connectors, 0.5ppm stability, reasonable receiver features, Icom’s known IF-DSP architecture, MB-116 handles, built.in 50MHz, rugged manpack styling , 201 memory channels, still using the CI-V interface and audio R/T via USB would be fine for digital modes.
Dislikes: No FM for 10 or 6 meters! (WHAT!) Only one antenna port, only one setting on attenuator, (10 and 20db would be better).

Positivo : Altoparlante anteriore, Bordi sul lato posteriore per proteggere i connet-tori, 0.5 ppm di stabilità, Ottime caratteristiche del ricevitore, IF-DSP nella 3th IFa 15.625kHz, MB-116 maniglie rach, comprende i 50MHz, di stile tipo militare, 201 canali di memoria. Mantiene lo standard CI-V per l’interfaccia che qui utilizza anche la porta USB che comprende l’audio modulato o ricevuto molto utile per la gestione delle comunicazioni digitali.
Negativo: Non ha il modo FM utile invece per 10 o per i 6 metri! (peccato!) Ha un unico connettore di antenna e l’attenuatore ha una solo impostazione ( più utile due passi da10 e 20dB)
