BT1per Pechino 2008; L’allestimento e l’attività di Stazioni Speciali di Radioamatori in occasione dell’Evento dei Giochi Olimpici di Pechino 2008 è stata approvata dal Comitato Organizzatore per i Giochi della XXIX Olimpiadi di Pechino e dal Comitato di Regolamentazione Radio Statale; Le stazioni consistono di 5 speciali Callsigns: BT1OB, BT1OJ, BT1OH, BT1OY, BT1ON, che rappresentano i 5 Cerchi colorati dei Giochi Olimpici di Pechino: Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, Nini; Le 5 stazioni radio sono situate in zone diverse; Il periodo di operazioni sarà: dal 18, maggio 2008 al 17 settembre 2008; Le cartoline QSL con grafica sono disponibili, si prega di fare riferimento alla sezione “QSL Info” delle pagine web; Il Regolamento del Diploma (award) è stato pubblicato, si prega di fare riferimento alla sezione ” Award” delle pagine web

ENG: The Beijing 2008 Olympic Game Special Event Amateur Radio Station setup application was approved by The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad and State Radio Regulatory Committee;  The stations consist of 5 Special Callsigns: BT1OB, BT1OJ, BT1OH, BT1OY, BT1ON, which represent the 5 Beijing Olympic Games symbols: Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, Nini; The 5 stations located in different areas; The operation period is : 18, May 2008 to 17, September 2008; The QSL card design was released, please refer to “QSL Info” web page; The award rules have been published, please refer to “Award” web page

SX5C Stroggylh Island DXpedition IOTA: EU-001 – Attività DX di Radioamatori greci con nominativo speciale SX5C

DX-pedition nell’Isola Strogili (IOTA: EU-001); Un gruppo di Radioamatori della Grecia (vedi più sotto) attivano sia l’isola Strongili che il Faro di Ipsili (L-1653) nel Mare Mediterraneo a circa cinque miglia-marine a sud-est dall’Isola di Kastellorizo (Grid square: KM56tc). Attività in radio dal 25 luglio al 4 agosto 2008, in tutte le bande da 160m a 2m e in tutti i modi di emissione (Voice, Digital, CW). QSL manager SV1HER, Sotirios, scambio cartoline  QSL  via Burò.

ENG: The Radioamateurs SV1GE, SV1JG, SV1RC, SV1RP, SV1EEX, SV1GRM,SV1GYG, SV1HER and SV1JCZ, will activate the rocky islet STROGILI (IOTA: EU-001, GIOTA: DKS 001) with lighthouse ham activation of the islet; Lighthouse named IPSILI: WLOTA: L-1653, ARLHS: GRE-123; The Stroggyli Kastellorizou also called Strongili or Strogili or Ipsili, is a Greek islet which lies in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, about five (5) nautical miles south-east of the island of Kastelorizo (Grid square: KM46tc) Timeline 25 July – 04 August 2008. We will be active (we hope) in all bands from 160m-2m in all modes. QSL manager: SV1HER, via Buro

Una grande spedizione Antartica Russa, A large Russian Antartic Expedition, Callsign used will be R1ANT (Ham radio station)

La spedizione Antartica Russa è iniziata il 13 marzo scorso partendo dal Sud Africa a bordo della Academician Fedorov diretta verso l’Antartica. Sono previste visite a varie basi antartiche ed i radioamatori opereranno trasmissioni radio con il nominativo speciale R1ANT; La squadra comprende Valey, RW3GW che è il lider ed anche QSL manager della spedizione.

ENG: Russian Antartic Expedition did start last March 13th leavin from South Africa, on board of Academician Fedorov on a route to Antartica. Call sign used will be R1ANT for ham radio expedition for visiting more Antartic bases. QSL manager is Valey, RW3GW leading of activity
