The FUNcube-1 micro-satellite (CubeSat standard size) will carry a UHF to VHF linear transponder that will have approx 500mW PEP output and which can be used by Radio Amateurs worldwide for SSB and CW communications. -
AMSAT-UK is working on this new amateur satellite project: FUNcube-1 is a complete educational single CubeSat project with the goal of enthusing and educating young people about radio, space, physics and electronics, will be launched with a number of other spacecraft from a DNEPR rocket sometime in the third quarter of 2012.
FUNcube Dongle Pro or “FCD” is a SDR Receiver! - The Pro version gives unlimited access to the frequency range 64MHz to 1.7GHz (1.1GHz – 1.27GHz omitted) – Similar to USB TV Dongle, the FUNcube Dongle simple fits into your computer’s USB port. It’s compatible with many radio reception programs … like the future FunSDR write by I2PHD (see below!) and it is uses standard USB drivers already integrated into the operating system! The new software “Opera” Beta, developed by EA5HVK, Jose Ros (author of the now established ROS Data mode!) using DSP techniques, it’s a alternative QRSS for weak signal experiments on 136 & 500 kHz and for HF all bands (80 to 10 mt) for Ver. 1.1.2 up – Better than standard QRSS, similar like WSPR, but with Opera you can choose your own interval time between 1 and 60 minutes.
CAT Link embodied and Tx by COM port Key or Audio drive Tx\Rx COM port switch faclity – Decoder are possible with S/N – 26 to -38 dB (Rx speed auto-selected!) The spots are visible in near realtime to interested parties with PSKreporter and Hamspots.com (see the links) – This as a way of providing data operations for stations that only had the CW capability. Tokyo and US engineering teams has been trying to improve the CW QSK Full or Semi-breakin operations of the FTDX5000. There have been concerns expressed on the Yahoo FTdx5000 Group about the dot and space ratio (..1.1.) and timing of the CW characters.
I team di ingegneri a Tokyo e in Usa con il rilascio del MAIN Ver.0121 del 29.09.2011, migliorano il tempo di risposta dei segnali per lo Spectrum Scope quando i comandi [VRF] o [µTUNE] sono ON !

Su queste pagine potete ascoltare e controllare ricevitori SDR per onde corte. Possono essere sintonizzati ed ascoltati da parte di più utenti contemporaneamente, grazie all’utilizzo del Software-Defined Radio e un interfaccia web appositamente progettata da ciascun gruppo!
Si possono usare i vari comandi per sintonizzare, cambiare la Banda Passante del DSP, cambiare il modo, vedere l’intensità del segnale in dBm. Nel riquadro sotto vengono indicate le sigle (con scritte colorate) di chi ha fatto il log-in e le frequenze che utilizzano in tempo reale. No abuse, please!!

The DSP IF filter shape factor (-6/-60 dB). This is the ratio of the -60 dB bandwidth to the -6 dB bandwidth, which is a figure of merit for the filter’s adjacent-channel’s rejection. The lower the shape factor, the “tighter” the filter. – The two type of DSP filter shape factor for each SSB, SSB-Data and CW can be selected independently from soft and sharp.
A sharp profile with a flat passband and soft profile with a more rounded passband (Twin Passband Tuning [TWIN-PBT] is also easily provided, which enables the filter sides to be both indipendently moved and narrowed, the DSP also provides audio filtering and shaping functions). Depending on the operating situation, for example handling a pile-up or receiving a very weak signal, you can flexibly change sharp and soft filter shapes or reduce or shift the filter width, even while receiving a signal, by a simple push of a front panel key.
